Getting Started

Problem Definition

In order to choose the proper architecture to serve your needs, you might want to visit the NPACI tutorial Introduction to SDSC/NPACI Architectures (ppt), which compares different problem types and parallel architectures. You may also take a look at the different supercomputer systems running at the San Diego Supercomputing Center.

Getting An Account

Once you've figured out what type of architecture you'll need, you will open an account.

Using Your Account

Once you have an account on one or more machines, check out the Getting Started manuals for each of these systems:

Or contact us and we'll help you choose the tools best suited to your situation.
