Removing VPN Client from Windows

Step 1: Click on the Control Panel icon available via the Start menu.

Step 2: Click on the Uninstall a program option under Programs.

Step 3: Select the Cisco Systems VPN Client by clicking on its icon, then click Uninstall to start the removal.

Step 4: Click Yes to confirm that you would like to remove the VPN Client, or click No to cancel the deinstallation.

Step 5: On Windows Vista, select the Allow option to allow Vista to de-install the VPN Client. The system will silently complete this task. You will know it is done when the Cisco Systems VPN Client is no longer in the list of programs in the Control Panel window.

Step 6 (optional): Reboot the machine. Your system should continue to run normally, but some residue from the VPN client will remain until the machine is rebooted.
