Testing the Push Notification

a) Open a web browser to https://duo-mgmt.identity.ucsb.edu/.

b) Log into SSO.

c) Your browser will show the MFA with Duo Self-Registration form.

d) Click the “Send me a push” button on the Self-Registration form. The Duo Mobile app must be
    downloaded to your phone to receive the push notification. 

e) You will receive an alert on your phone that says "Login request: Duo Self Service Portal."

f) Open the notification and press "Approve." 

g) You will see the My Settings & Devices screen. This means your push notification works as configured.

Testing the SMS

a) Open a web browser to https://duo-mgmt.identity.ucsb.edu/.

b) Log into SSO.

c) Your browser will show the MFA with Duo Self-Registration form.

d) Click the “Enter a Passcode” button on the Self-Registration form.

e) Click "Text me new codes."

f) Enter the first passcode in the SMS from Duo and press “Log In.

g) You will see the My Settings & Devices screen. This means your SMS passcode works as configured.

h) Close your browser window to exit.

Testing an MFA Token

a) Open a web browser to https://duo-mgmt.identity.ucsb.edu/.

b) Log into SSO.

c) Your browser will show the MFA with Duo Self-Registration form.

d) Click “Generate a Passcode” using your MFA hardware token.

e) Click the “Enter a Passcode” button on the Self-Registration form.

f) Enter the passcode and press “Log In.”

g) You will see the My Settings & Devices screen. This means your token works as configured.
